Cantina Rotaliana is located in Northern Italy, at the foot of the breathtaking Dolomites, near the renown Garda Lake and the city of Trento, famous for the Ecumenical Council of the Roman Catholic Church convened between 1545 and 1563. Mezzolombardo, the small village where the winery has its headquarters, was the last fortifi cation of the Longobard Kingdom. Crossed by Claudia Augusta Altinate, ancient trading route of the Roman Empire built in 15 B.C, for centuries this area was a crossroad of cultures between north and south Europe, a centre of trade, political power and religion.

Established in 1931, Cantina Rotaliana traded for a number of years with a backdrop of many changes including the introduction of new modern equipments and winemaking techniques, which made it a fi ercely competitive wine-producer, able to respond to the challenges of global markets. Investing in new technologies and promoting wine research activities and their findings are key factors for the success of Cantina Rotaliana along with the quality of grapes used to produce wine. To obtain best quality wine-grapes we need to protect the environment and conserve natural resources that make our wines so unique. For this reason, our key word for the future is sustainability.
